Recipe: an immeasurably improved Monday

MilkshakeMondays are no fun. We all know it’s true. There’s no need to labour the point.

Sometimes you’ve just gotta create your own joy to lighten up a Monday. Which is what I did today, with a chocolate peanut butter milkshake made in less than 5 minutes.

Here’s how:

  1. Put 2 scoops of chocolate ice-cream, half a cup of milk (whatever kind you normally drink), 1 small, ripe banana mashed up a little bit with a fork, and 1 tbsp peanut butter (I always use crunchy) into a deep mixing bowl.
  2. Use a handheld blender to combine everything into a light, frothy shake. You might want to add more or less milk depending on how you like your shakes (THICK).
  3. Guzzle.

There now. Doesn’t Monday feel better already?
